A fuel rate you can check.

Deliverate uses the same formula as the Nexus fuel surcharge calculator. Fuel is applied to the courier’s transport amount, excluding the £42 Deliverate fee. The whole surcharge is included in the courier allocation.

The calculation

1. Remove the source’s VAT percentage from the pump price.
2. Calculate the percentage increase above the source’s baseline fuel price.
3. Multiply that increase by the source’s fuel-cost weighting.
4. Apply the resulting percentage to the transport amount and round the money to the nearest penny.

If fuel falls below the baseline, the surcharge is zero.
